Subject: Pardon granted

I appreciate everything your organization has done for me over the last several years. I am now free (once the RCMP update their system) to continue on upwards growth at work.

Since all provinces have various rules/guidelines regarding past issues it is nice to know that on my renewal forms I can comfortably check the no box regarding no issues in the past.

The decision that I made in 2015, refusal of breath sample; made me recognize the severity of my behavior of drinking.

Dear Pardons:

I received the mail packaged yesterday, upon opening I said a small prayer in terms of the awaited information. The decision that I made in 2015, refusal of breath sample; made me recognize the severity of my behavior of drinking. And how it caused other people harm.

Most importantly, I have made steps to changed where I decided to enter a 12 step recovery program; Through out this process I did make contact again with all the people in which it gave closure to most. The changes had to happen within me, but I also needed to take accountability for all my actions.  I later got reunited within my relgious and now a devoted person of worship; however, to be able to see all the wrongs I use to make and than rectify it either through service work, or clearing the past hurt with regards to all the people is foremost the most important.  The change within me will have a ripple affect in my community and all areas surrounding. Pardons Canada has helped me since the beginning because I was unsure how to summit the packet, but as well conversations with Pardons Canada representatives.  I eventually got my drivers reinstated with no offenses; but did not for three years with also lost of employment.  This Record Suspension will give me more so peace of mind when it come’s to travel or employment.  In either, case I am at serenity as of now, and glad to have the support from Pardons Canada since the beginning 5 years ago.

Thank You.

Tony

Thank you so much in working with me to begin rebuilding my life

Dear Pardons Canada

Thank you so much in working with me to begin rebuilding my life without the burden of my past circumstances hindering new opportunities for me. The challenge of starting over was very difficult and without your support I do not know what I would have done without it. Again I thank you.

I also appreciate how helpful the counselling team was in assisting me along the way. I found the counsellors not only helpful but also very informative which granted me great confidence in their capabilities. I definitely will recommend this service to anyone I encounter that may need the same assistance.

Sincerely

Sheldon

Thanks to all at Pardons Canada who worked on Pardon/Record Suspension

Hello,

I am thankful that I used the services of Pardons Canada. They helped me with getting my Pardon/Record Suspension granted.

Although they did advise me that it could take up to one year (and it did take a little over a year) to get this process completed, I am so grateful that I can now travel (once travel restrictions due to COVID-19 are lifted) with peace of mind when I visit my daughter who now resides in the USA with my son in law as well as my father and other extended members of my family.

It’s like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders!

I can now also apply to job postings with confidence.

Thanks to all at Pardons Canada who worked on my file.

Best Regards,

Grace

Pardons Canada opened a new world of career opportunities for me

Hello,

This is Wayne Proudlove.  I just this morning received my record suspension in the mail.  Being occupied with other parts of my life I didn’t realize what was in the yellow envelope until I opened it.
When I did and got affirmation of my pardon, a wonderful feeling of relief came over me along with graciousness to Pardons Canada and a new world of career opportunity and travel opened before my very eyes.
My mother is proud of me too.

Thank you,
Wayne Proudlove

How wonderful it feels to have my Record Suspension granted

To Whom This Concerns

You are correct in the letter when you say how wonderful it feels to have my Record Suspension granted, it is a long time to carry the burden of having a criminal record .

My father was a member of the RCMP ( RETIRED ) which also led to the embarrassment of having a criminal record, many times I missed an opportunity to go on a golfing trip to the States as I was afraid to get caught at the border.

It is like having a large weight lifted off your chest when I received your letter informing me that my Record Suspension was granted,

I would like to thank all those involved who were responsible for making this happen.

Thank you for all your hard work with respect to helping me secure a pardon.

To the staff at Pardons Canada.

Thank you for all your hard work with respect to helping me secure a pardon.

Andrew Tanenbaum, who was instrumental in this process, left no stone unturned, in helping me in my pursuit of a pardon.

The staff in the office made it clear of my responsibilities that are required to secure a pardon, including the full disclosure of my convictions, details of the crimes on my criminal record (to the best of my recollection) and full acceptance of my guilt , with respect to those convictions.

As uncomfortable, as it was, this was one of the most important steps, in my journey, to a criminal record free life, moving forward.

Maybe I could have secured a pardon on my own, but as Andrew Tanenbaum had explained to me, that, if there were any omissions of details that the Parole Board were seeking in order to grant a pardon, my application would have been dismissed as incomplete and a pardon would have been denied.

Pardons Canada ARE the reason that I am now a criminal record free member of society, as their perseverance to guiding me through the process, IS second to none.

Very heartfelt thank you to every member of the team at Pardons Canada,

Sincerest of regards,

Mr. M. F.,

Hamilton, Ontario
